Why wool outperforms synthetics

Synthetic carpets such as olefin, nylon and polyester attract airborne soil from industrial emissions and petroleum sources, leading to graying in traffic areas and frequent cleaning. Wool resists this naturally, and stain-resistant finishes are not recommended on wool.

  • Non-allergenic; does not promote bacteria or dust mites, and is free of harmful emissions
  • Excellent insulator of temperature and sound
  • Naturally flame retardant, specified for the most stringent flammability regulations
  • Recyclable and biodegradable
  • Superior long-term appearance from the fiber's natural resilience

Pure, natural construction

Made of 100% wool with no mothproofing, stain protection or fire retardants. Colors come from the natural shades of the sheep, with no harsh dyes or pigments. Rugs are backed with natural jute and made with only hemp, cotton and natural rubber. Natural rubber gripper pads add comfort and keep rugs in place. These rugs release no harmful gases and absorb household odors, improving indoor air quality. Wool lasts longer than chemical, recycled or other synthetic fibers.
